TODAYS MILEAGE – 3 miles or 5 kilometres
TRIP MILEAGE – 8459 miles or 13613 kilometres
As it was bucketing down rain when we all gathered at the TSB Bank Arena, the organisers cancelled the Street Parade/March and decided to let us walk the kilometre or so to the Te Papa Tongarewa (Museum of New Zealand).
Not a promising start I must say, but we all took it in our stride, so to speak, and decided to simply enjoy ourselves.
