Time to head South to the capitol of New Zealand!!!

It was just a cruizy day today. Dougy Doug and I had spent the best part of a week traversing the North Island of New Zealand from North to East and West to South. I have no dramas in saying that I've had a great time traveling with Dougy Doug as he is truly one of natures gentlemen.

Traveling with someone you know is hard enough, but we had only spent a week together 18 months ago while playing in San Diego (California, USA), but not a worry in the world mate. We had a week of just wondering around out our own pace, checking anything out that we wanted to, while sharing great food, awesome scenery, a few sherbets and a whole lot of laughs. Good onya mate!!! Be Happy

We got out of Palmerston North around 11:30 and headed down the West coast of New Zealand covering the 160 kilometres into Wellington in a bit over 3 hours. The countryside on the East coast is considerably different to the North or West and we both commented on the change in scenery as we headed South to the capitol of New Zealand.

Being one of the first to arrive at our hotel for the next week (as participants of the 2006 World Golden Oldies Rugby Festival) we dropped of the rental car and greeted our incoming team mates from the Alice Springs Dingoes as they arrived

Tomorrow is the opening ceremony, so we'll see what happens. Be Happy
