Pppphhheeewww!!! It's Sunday already??? Be Happy

Mate, your dead right. I wasn't sure if it was the early night (3AM???) or late the finish (3AM???), but I was a bit slower this morning in getting up. Yeah, I know, 7:30AM is a late start for me, but I AM now forty after all!!!

Prior to turning in for the evening and seeing as I would be the last person to keep a man from his bride, I decided that an early morning wakeup call would be in order for Fluxy. By all accounts I got my daylight savings all ballsed up and he got a 5:30AM wakeup call in order to catch a 9:30AM flight back to Townsville (QLD, Australia). Yeah I'm sorry, but I was asleep by the time we had worked out the mistake. Go figure, an early worm generally gets eaten, but not so with Fluxy. Apparently he was primed for a big day in church!!!!

By all accounts I'm a hard working lad. I was cutting down a forest, based on the chainsaw sounds emanating from the base of my throat. Jeez!!! Picky, picky, picky. I couldn't keep it a secret from my ex–wife Ruth, that I'd had a hard night on the drink. Truth be told, apparently the more that I've imbibed upon the devils dance, the louder I snore. Not that it's bad or anything, but over the last couple of years, I've actually woken myself with my snoring. What does that mean??? Be Happy

By the time I'd dragged my arse out of bed, the worms were a biting. I was on the fang and in need of a feed, so we headed over to the Harborside Shopping Centre to rectify that situation, as you wouldn't want me fading away to a shadow now would you???

From there, we cut over the Pyrmont Street Bridge to do numerous laps of David Jones and Myers in the name of securing shiny balls. Don't ask...... you had to be there. Fuck that shop–a–docket shit, I am so not into shopping, but as you get older, you play the game to keep the peace.

For lunch, we bailed up the barmaid of the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel again and had another brilliant $6.00 feed while watching the Poms try and mount a futile comeback in the cricket before we'd scatter to all points of the compass.

The three of us left, Fluxy left in the morning, grabbed another cab to the airport and were only charged $20.40 for the privilege. Man was I cranky!!! Not 24 hours previous, we were smacked $45.95 and now the sum total was $20.40. I was livid, but what do you do???

Philthy and I got back into Coolangatta around 10:30PM and were in the fart sack by 11PM. All in all, a great weekend was had by all, so why wouldn't you do it all again??? Be Happy
