Flat out like a lizard drinking??? Be Happy

Being my final day in Boise (Idaho, USA) for a while, meant that I was rushing around like a blue arse fly trying to finish off a few things while I was in town.

First stop was with giving Jarelle the 411 on the Man Pad so that the new owner has the skinny own working everything before they trundle on down the road.

Across the other side of town I hooked up with the absolute legends Tracy "Mini Fitz" and Chad "The Lad". They were having a few dramas with the picture quality of my previous Canon EOS 20D camera rig. They purchased from me earlier this month and in them doing so, allowed me to upgrade to my current Canon EOS 30D. No probs, as there was a bit of dust on the CMOS sensor, but we found an easy work around for them.

Just around the corner lives my good mate Doug Karcher who was having issues with his PC and USB devices. Doug got me into the whole Digital SLR camera gig which usually means me snaffling his gear when he upgrades.

Bastard!!!! Be Happy

It's all in jest though, I'm ever so grateful to be able to pick Doug's brains as he's helped my photo capabilities immensely.

The rugby club I played with for 10 years while in Boise, the 43rd State Crimson Lions, were playing at 2PM against our local rivals the Snake River Snakes. I was going to play, but time was against me and I only made the second half with camera in hand, as you can see by the photos below.

Even though the game wasn't anything to write home to Mum about, it was great to have a natter with my old team mates – the likes of DJ, Kush, Bartman, Wadester, Rob Frazer and Mark "GINA" Kennedy (as in "Glad I'm Not A"), as well as the funny talkers like Manimal, Tully, Haydes, Glen, Zip Zip, Junior and Mowtown. I also managed to chat with my old room mate Teabag, who I havn't seen in ages. He's got his ball & chain, Amber, up the spout and my best wishes go out to them. Hopefully they have a splittail to keep Teabag on the straight and narrow. Be Happy

After the game I headed on over to the pub to blow the froth off a couple of coldies with the boys before bolting out the door to another couple of other great mates of mine, Stacy and David's, for dinner with themselves and Nathan and Danette. As always, it was great company as we had a natter about anything & everything and it was all very kaz–u–al!!!

Even though it was only 10PM on a Saturday night, I headed back out to Ian & Jax's joint to finish a final bit of packing and to have everything in order for a 5AM start to the day, in order to make the 7:20AM flight. Needless to say, I got to bed at 1AM. Be Happy
