Can Christmas come in August??? Ken Oath it can!!! Be Happy

All righty then, I've had a change in camera equipment and I can tell you it's for the better.

After a bit of scheming with my good mate in Boise (Idaho, USA), Doug Karcher, I decided to bite the bullet and upgraded my Canon EOS 20D camera body to the Canon EOS 30D. While I was at it I upgraded to the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM AF which is a pretty fancy title for an awsome zoom lens.

I spent the best part of the day trying to decipher the idiot book and playing with the new toys. After several hours I was left with one thought - who in browns cow lets propeller head engineers write an owners manual??? Fair dinkum, it was enough to send Einstien bonkers trying to work out what all the buttons and stuff were for.

In order to get away from the mental anguish - hey I haven't done anything brain numbing since I left work in June and I reckon I probably survive a bit longer without it now!!! I rolled on down to the local cinema to check out Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest as I loved the first movie. I'd have to say that it wasn't as good at the first movie, but it was fun all the same.

Ahhh, the stress.
