It had been a few years since Ruth and I had a decent holiday and now that my Green Card was sorted and that we were comfortable with our respective employment choices, we decided a break was in order.
After a bit of discussion and a bit of planning, we decided on a road trip with a rough outline of what we wanted to see along the way.
The plan was to pick up a rental car in London and hit the road for a few weeks.
As you will see, we managed to squeeze in a decent amount of activities into a short timeframe.
