Whazzzuppp,

What a busy month or two it's been. My good mate KW and myself went and saw the Eagles in concert and had an absolute blast. Even though the tickets ran $190-00 Australian, it was great. The whole concert was the Eagles playing there stuff while indispersed with the individual band members (Glen Frey, Joe Walsh, Don Henley etc) doing their big solo hits. I want to see Supertramp, Phil Collins and Fleetwood Mac before they hang up the tools. It looks like I'm going to visit my other good mate Dash, in Chicago in September. My visit will coincide with the Rolling Stones in September, so hopefully we can score some tickets.

A couple of weeks ago I shot down to Dallas (Texas) to visit a couple of mates and to reacquaint myself with my niece Myah who is about 4 months old. I also managed to close my first college bar and gate crash a frat party while I was there. It's hard work but someone's got to do it.

Speaking of travel, if you go to Crimson Lions you will find photos from rugby trips I've played at with the boys. At 35 years young, you'd think it was about time I hung up the boots. Not only am still I playing, but I'm in fact the coach of the team. Man, I got to act like a big kid now??? ;-)

Don't get me wrong, I get a lot of enjoyment passing on the skills and knowledge that I've picked up with my 20 years of involvement with the sport, but fair dinkum some the boys can be real boofheads at times. ;-)

I've got stuck into my house in a big way. I got some great kitchen cabinets off a mate of mine and in order to install them, I have to remodel the laundry that sits directly below the kitchen. The laundry is 12 feet wide by 26 feet long. It's one big arse laundry. So, I decided to move the laundry door down 4 feet, put up a stud wall to separate the laundry from the new computer room/office/spare bedroom. The laundry will now be 12 by 10 feet while the new room will be 12 by 14 feet. Yeah I know that doesn't add up but the walls account for the other 2 feet in length.

The first job was to remove all the ceiling sheet rock, then complete the rough in for moving the existing door. I moved a couple of electrical boxes and roughed a server room of sorts under the stairs that will house all my computer network equipment as well as all my telephone and satellite TV controllers for the entire house. There was no insulation between the floors that needs to be remedied as well as running new water lines, power outlets, dryer vent outlet, washing machine plumbing and air conditioning plumbing. It's going to look great when I'm done, but my room mate thinks that I'm bonkers. He doesn't visualize building projects to well. When I remodeled the home theatre room and his bedroom he had no idea as to what I was trying to do until I was nearly finished. Needless to say he trusts my thought process now.

During the remodel downstairs, I have to install a new sliding glass door into the space now occupied by the dining room window. This will allow great access the back yard. My back yard is about 90 feet wide and about 50 feet deep with big old trees. So hopefully before the end of the summer I'll have all that done in order for the kitchen remodel to be done over the winter.

Anyway's, I've got a million things to do, so I'd better get off my Shanksus Pony and get some of it done. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Stay Happy ;-)
